On May 20, 1967, a purported UFO sighting occurred at Falcon Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba, Canada. Several Canadian and American agencies, including the Condon Committee, looked into the incident. These included the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Royal Canadian Air Force, the Departments of Health and National Defense, and the United States Air Force. CBC News called it “Canada’s best-documented UFO case,” while the International UFO Reporting Center called it “the world’s most documented UFO sighting.”
